Emileon Sports Centre

The “Emileon Sports Center” which includes recreation areas, is situated 4km southwest of the city of Agrinio. ​

The basic idea of the design was to form a complex unit that was intended initially to serve the Panetolikos team’s training needs and also to provide the residents of the city of Agrinio with a much-wanted recreation space. This would be a unit with places and functions that fitted harmoniously into the natural landscape. It is essentially a recasting of the natural space, where the layouts of its individual functions and the additional elements of landscaping are skilfully combined, achieving an original architectural space.​

The total area is estimated at 67,000.51 sq.m. and includes: football pitches, a basketball court, tennis courts, a gym, a physiotherapy area, wet areas and office space as well as restaurants, cafés, and event hall and a swimming pool.

These facilities are all connected harmoniously and function as a whole to offer a pleasant environment, which is an ideal destination for total recreation.
